Ibland inneb\u00e4r det st\u00f6kiga v\u00e5gor och str\u00f6mmar. Ut\u00f6ver traditionell simtr\u00e4ning beh\u00f6ver atleten ocks\u00e5 vara effektiv med sportens utrustning, d.v.s. v\u00e5tdr\u00e4kt, paddlar och dolme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u00f6pningen i swimrun utg\u00f6rs ofta av terr\u00e4ngl\u00f6pning s\u00e5 tr\u00e4ning i skog och mark \u00e4r viktigt. Det g\u00e4ller dessutom att hantera den speciella pacing som uppst\u00e5r d\u00e5 l\u00f6pning dels \u00e4r oregelbunden men ocks\u00e5 bryts av simningar, d\u00e5 pulsen till\u00e5ts g\u00e5 ner och benen f\u00e5r \u00e5terh\u00e4mta sig n\u00e5got.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e5got som inte kan po\u00e4ngteras nog \u00e4r att swimrun inte \u00e4r bara l\u00f6pning och simning. Sportens alla byten mellan disciplinerna och utrustning kr\u00e4ver tr\u00e4ning i transitioner men ocks\u00e5 i sj\u00e4lva t\u00e4vlingsformatet. T\u00e4vlingarna \u00e4r ofta ganska l\u00e5nga och d\u00e5 blir ocks\u00e5 s\u00e5dant som nutrition, lagarbete och att ha en plan f\u00f6r loppet viktigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tomas genomf\u00f6rde sin f\u00f6rsta swimrunt\u00e4vling 2014 och har sedan dess bl.a. deltagit i \u00d6TILL\u00d6 World Championship fem g\u00e5nger med 08:57 som personb\u00e4sta.
